Prior Art
Like many things, Stochastik stands on the shoulders of giants. Among the vast research into generative music there is one project that closely resembles the ideas presented in Stochastik, though you must be a programmer to use it. The open-source project by Giles Bowkett previously implemented the idea of setting a probability per step within a library written for the Ruby programming language. He is now offering a class on programming drum machines using the JavaScript programming language. You can learn about this class and keep up with his current work on his web page.Features:
